Automatic PII Redactor

Finds and genuinely removes PAN/Aadhaar/GSTIN/SSN/credit-card numbers from a PDF, entirely in this browser tab.

Real removal, not a visual cover: any page with a confirmed match is rasterized to an image and the match is redacted on the pixels — that page loses text-selectability and becomes larger, but the underlying text is genuinely gone, not just covered. Pages with no match are left untouched.

This does not guarantee every number is found: Pattern-and-checksum matching cannot guarantee every sensitive number is found. Unusual formatting, poor-quality scans (where little or no real text can be extracted), or numbers split across unexpected PDF text runs can cause a real number to be missed. This tool reduces risk; it does not eliminate the need to manually review a highly sensitive document before sharing it.
